cats better than dogs?

our first sporting event at UGA wasn't what you would expect. although we sat in the student section and learned some of Georgia's cheers (one of which is the battle hymn of the republic), we were wearing blue to support the University of Kentucky wildcats. we had great seats, and the UGA fans didn't hate us, even though the cheerleaders refused to offer us a pom-pom (kt insists that Athens has the friendliest people on earth). UK dominated the game, and the UK faithful probably outnumbered the home fans. it was the first time we went to a sporting event since the Ice Cats, and it proved that i will always love felines more than canines when sports are concerned.

Dear Poser,
It is easy to jump on the "fairweather fan" bandwagon when your wife is from Kentucky. If she was from South Dakota you would have stuck with your child-hood adolescent obsession, Duke Univ, for basketball. So stick to your roots, or just do the right thing and become a Felton Fanatic! This way you can at least have some credibility when rooting for the Dawgs come football season.
