katie's idea of a bridge
katie is always better than me. we first met in a humanities class at byu, and we used to bet on who would get the higher score (i was really sneaky because the loser had to make the other one dinner...an instant date!). she always won. i would get like a 96 and she would get a 98.
this pattern has continued over the last 4 1/2 years. last weekend, we had an idea to go on a walk. i thought we should go to the same old park down the road, but katie wanted to find a new trail. we went to a covered bridge/state park 30 minutes away. it was great.
i got to thinking: my life would be so dull without her. i am content with ramen noodles for dinner, but she wants a fun meal with salad, bread, and a main dish (and of course dessert). she makes great things for our house, and she always beats me in games too. not to mention that pasha loves her ten times more than me. my only consolation is that i am better at chosing movies and music. hah.
