Sorry it has taken us over a month to put pictures on the blog from Italy. So, the first week and a half here we traveled to the south of Italy to see sites and find ancestors.
We spent the first day in Pompeii. The weather was great, but there was so much to see there. We went into about half of the houses, and saw the forum, baths, and theatres. It was amazing to see how well preserved it all was. I was especially impressed with how they made steam baths back then.
